Join us for an afternoon screening and post-screening discussion in San Rafael on October 13. We will begin by attending the North American Premiere screening of a French film at the 45th Mill Valley Film Festival in San Rafael, followed by an in-person discussion at a nearby cafe. The film we will see is Our Brothers, directed by Rachid Bouchareb, a selection at this year's Cannes Film Festival.

The 45th annual Mill Valley Film Festival has selected seven French-language films for their 2022 program, which runs from October 6 to October 16 in San Rafael and Mill Valley. We have compiled synopses, trailers and other details about these contemporary films from France, Belgium and Francophone Africa.

We welcome you back to a matinée edition of Soirée Cinéma (French Film Night), presenting the adult comedy, My Donkey, My Lover and I, starring Laure Calamy from Call My Agent! (Dix Pour Cent). Stream this film, or see it in person at the Lark Theater in Marin County (this week only). Then, on Wednesday, September 28, we will host a one-hour online bilingual discussion starting at 10:30 am.
