August marks the gentle transition between the relaxed pace of summer and the excitement of la rentrée, that uniquely French tradition when, after the long August holidays, schools reopen, cultural organizations resume their activities, and communities come together with renewed energy. Here at Alliance Française de Santa Rosa – Sonoma Wine Country, we’re embracing that same spirit. Our dedicated Board of Directors is taking a well-deserved summer break, so there will be no Ciné Club or special events this month. Behind the scenes, however, we’re preparing for an exciting fall filled with opportunities to learn, connect, and celebrate French language and culture. You can already save the date for our annual pétanque rendez-vous with fun games & an picnic at Matanzas Creek Winery on Saturday, October 17th!
