Joelle Pluchon

After graduating with a Masters in Applied Languages for International Trade from the Universite de La Rochelle, France, Joelle traveled to Australia, China and the USA. She came to California in 2001. In Santa Monica College she obtained a double AA in Liberal Arts and International Trade.

Her passion and knowledge of linguistics and languages brought her to teach her mother tongue in various settings; from full immersion preschools to language centers and Alliances Françaises around LA and here at Alliance Française de Santa Rosa.

Since moving to Sonoma County with her husband Jim, a California native, Joelle loves to go on hikes in our redwood forests, practice photography (with emphasis on sunsets!), and share her many interests with her friends and from time to time, at our causeries!
