Traveling to France soon, need French for work or for personal pursuits? Beginning French teaches students to communicate immediately in Everyday Situations by learning the building blocks of the language. Students practice dialogues to introduce themselves, ask questions, make purchases, and enjoy the culture and challenges of everyday life. Use of current practical expressions, correct pronunciation and grammar, and cultural know-how are stressed. Minimum enrollment is needed for classes to run.     Online class! In Advanced Conversation B2 students will learn about and discuss the many aspects of French civilization: history, geography, art and culture, politics, society, and daily life. Our classes depend upon minimum enrollment.

  • “Fun to practice French in context with these subjects”.

    • Instructor: Charles de Bretteville
    • Tuition: $240 (8 weeks) or $225 (7 weeks)
    In-person class!  This class is designed to inspire students of advanced intermediate French to deepen their appreciation and enjoyment of the French language and culture through a lively and conversational approach to selections of poetry, short stories and excerpts from literary texts.  Authors and poets will range from the classics to the 20th century, including Francophone poets.  Songs will be chosen for their cultural and poetic value and to improve listening comprehension.  The goal is for students to gain both a deeper understanding of French literature as they gain confidence in expressing their thoughts and feelings in a nurturing and relaxed environment. Our classes depend upon minimum enrollment. (B2 Level)
