Join us for a French afternoon at the “Alliance Française de Santa Rosa’s Pétanque Pique-Nique!”
Save the date for a fun outing of friendly games of Pétanque Villageoise on
Sunday, October 16th from 1 pm to 4 pm at
Matanzas Creek Winery
6096 Bennett Valley Road in Santa Rosa.
In addition to the pétanque courts overlooking fragrant lavender fields, we have secured the picnic area where guests can enjoy light sandwich fare and appetizers, Matanzas Creek wine along with sparkling water, all provided by AFSR. Guests may also bring food and non-alcoholic beverages to share. AFSR members will be offering convivial instructions in how to play pétanque and there will be sets of boules available – no expertise required!
French music will be adding to the ambiance! Come out and engage in French conversations, language, food, wine, and pétanque.
This event is free.
Please bring your own utensils, plates and cups, lawn chairs, and–of course–your pétanque boules, also!
