In-person class! This class is designed to inspire students of advanced intermediate French to deepen their appreciation and enjoyment of the French language and culture through a lively and conversational approach to selections of poetry, short stories and excerpts from literary texts. Authors and poets will range from the classics to the 20th century, including Francophone poets. Songs will be chosen for their cultural and poetic value and to improve listening comprehension. Our classes depend upon minimum enrollment. (B2 Level)

Online class! Students studying Advanced Literature read excerpts and works of famous authors, learn their biographies, mark their place in history, and discuss major themes. Students are currently studying 20th century literature. Our classes depend upon minimum enrollment. (B2/C1 Level)

Private lessons, regular or AP (Advanced Placement for high school), are one-on-one and ongoing. Sessions are one month (a 2-3 hour minimum) paid in advance. Rates:

Adults $75/hour ($85/hour for teacher travel beyond 10 miles from the instructor’s home)

Youth $60/hr ($70/hr w/travel)

Semi-Private Lessons (Regular and AP) with Marie-Pierre

Semi-private lessons are offered to two students for regular or AP (Advanced Placement for HS) instruction, tailor-maid to suit student needs.

Sessions are one month (2-3 hours minimum) paid in advance.

Adults: $80/hr ($40.00/hr each)

Youth: $60/hr ($30/hr each)

Online only.
