    This is the second in a series of beginner classes at the A1 level. Traveling to France soon, need French for work or for personal pursuits? Beginning French teaches students to communicate immediately in Everyday Situations by learning the building blocks of the language. Students practice dialogues to introduce themselves, ask questions, make purchases, and enjoy the culture and challenges of everyday life.     In person class. At the A2/B1 level, students continue to strengthen their skills in French through proper pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar, focusing on a communicative approach to the language. Past and future tenses are stressed along with other finer points of the language. Dialogue and listening activities are central, along with news podcasts, short films and short stories to expand vocabulary, grammar and comprehension.This class will help students learn to enjoy and interact in the French culture, whether it be for travel, work, or personal pursuits.
