Events other than scheduled group classes

On September 12 discuss the film Rodin, directed by Jacques Doillon. Vincent Lindon plays the sculptor. Roger Ebert.com praised the energy that Lindon brings to the film and noted that “Doillon’s script initially focuses on Rodin’s time crafting a piece on Dante’s Comedy, but it expands to his cameos from other famous artists: Monet, Cezanne, and Victor Hugo are just a few fellow creatives who are thrown into the mix.”

In addition to the pétanque courts overlooking fragrant lavender fields, we have secured the picnic area where guests can enjoy light sandwich fare and appetizers, Matanzas Creek wine along with sparkling water, all provided by AFSR. Guests may also bring food and non-alcoholic beverages to share. AFSR members will be offering convivial instructions in how to play pétanque and there will be sets of boules available – no expertise required!
