“Exploration de Contes, poèmes et chansons” (B2): This class is designed to inspire students of advanced intermediate French to deepen their knowledge of the French language and culture through a lively combination of the short story, poetry, and music. Selections are chosen to introduce students to a variety of poets from La Fontaine to Jacques Prévert and an example of the short story from the writer Alphonse Daudet. Songs of poetic value will also be included. Materials will be provided by the instructor.
