My Donkey, My Lover, and I Antoinette dans les Cévennes (2020) An online discussion September 28, 2022 at 10:30 am
We welcome you back to a matinée edition of Soirée Cinéma(French Film Night),
presenting the adult comedy, My Donkey, My Lover and I, starring Laure Calamy from Call My Agent! (Dix Pour Cent). Calamy won the Best Actress award at the 2021 Césars for her work in this film.
The AFSR Cineclub invites you and your (adult) friends to stream this film in the next few weeks, or see it in person at the Lark Theater in Marin County (this week only). Then, on Wednesday, September 28, your Cineclub hosts, Peter Zingg and Joelle Pluchon, will conduct a bilingual discussion online about the film.

Join us for a fun Sunday afternoon of pétanque (French lawn bowling)
and refreshments. The time and location will be announced soon.

In-Person Film Screening and Post-Film Chat
at the Mill Valley Film Festival
The schedule for the festival, to be held at the Rafael Theater in San Rafael, will be announced September 9.
We will select a French film to attend together,
followed by a discussion at a local cafe.
