Overview: Ongoing beginner classes to learn the fundamentals of listening, speaking, reading and writing French. Common themes covered include greetings, exchanging simple information, restaurant, travel, family, weather, daily activities and shopping. Students learn correct pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary through student interactions while exploring French and francophone cultures.
Books: Teacher materials and Francais interactif: Les etudiants americains en France, available online, 3rd edition, by Karen Kelton, Nancy Guilloteau and Carl Blyth. May also be purchased new and used e.g., Amazon or eBay.
