This 2011 Québecois film, directed by Philippe Falardeau, tells the story of an Algerian immigrant in Montréal who takes a job teaching a class of elementary-school students whose previous teacher had committed suicide. The film was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, and has a 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
