The Federation of Alliances Françaises USA and Telescope Film present their monthly French Cinémathèque discussion on Monday, February 24, 2025 at 4:00 pm. The film under discussion is Le Comte de Monte-Cristo (2024), directed by Alexandre de La Patellière and Matthieu Delaporte, based on the classic novel by Alexandre Dumas.

The target of a nefarious plot, Edmond Dantès is arrested on his wedding day for a crime he did not commit. After over a decade in an island prison, he stages a daring escape to seek revenge on the men who betrayed him under the guise of the Count of Monte-Cristo.
