Known as the “world’s fastest wine”, Beaujolais Nouveau is bottled just 6-8 weeks after harvest, and an incredible 35 million bottles are shipped worldwide. Produced by only 55 appellations in the Beaujolais region of France, this red wine must come from the area to be given a special ‘AOC’ status. Beaujolais Nouveau is also special because it has a relatively short lifecycle compared to other wines. It’s best enjoyed young, so that the fruity flavors remain juicy and fresh!
